The elevator noise has been keeping up at night and has been extremely distracting working from home. I have complained about it several times, a tech has apparently been out a couple of times to fix the issue but NOTHING has changed. I literally hear a screeching sound every single time someone takes an elevator. The elevators are clearly very old and need to be replaced. Now I’m being told there’s nothing more they can do because apparently the noise doesn’t bother my neighbours. Well that’s not my business because I don’t know what their hearing is like or if they even hear the noise like I do. I had the superintendent stand in my apartment and he could hear the screeching noise too. I have so many audio recordings of the noise. It’s so distracting and annoying! I don’t know what to do at this point. I can’t believe I have to wear ear plugs constantly in my own apartment.
