Petawawa Kia contracted to trade in my car for a new build. They held my car and never paid out my lease for over a month, they never ordered my car, they didn’t return my calls until the day before Christmas holidays and only then advised that they were re-neg’ing on the deal. They offered no compensation and then attempted to threaten me when I insisted on their compliance with the terms of the contract they drew up. Upon retrieving my electric car, it had over $800 of damage that needed repair. The mechanic who repaired my car advised that he witnessed exact scenario happen to another person. Their incompetence and bad faith has cost me in the tens of thousands.

Now I am forced to take the time and expense of bringing them to court to recoup the significant costs. I can’t imagine how much more stressful this ordeal would be if I wasn’t a practicing lawyer.
