Reviews of Stolk Construction Ltd in Port Colborne

Stolk Construction I believed to be a good place for their employees a few months ago. Up until today. Slowly throughout the months I got to see what this company was truly like with one person particularly in mind. John Halls. Not only is he an office favourite but he is the most corrupt foreman there. He belittles his staff. Refuses to take others opinions as constructive criticism or truth. And needs others to tell him right from wrong. He also didn't report incidents such as one of his employees falling from a roof. But berated one of the other staff members when he tied on to a rope grab. Later the employee was terminated without cause because he stood up for himself. There has actually been multiple terminations by Kate Flynn for termination because John has complained and there is no communication between the employee in question and the human resources department. I believe that before you pick this company you should see which crew would be working for you. Because I know there is a huge dent in the roof where that guy fell off onto the story below. Not to mention I got first hand experience to the incident involving the rope grab as the employee was so upset that he'd forgottten I was on the phone in his pocket. So I heard what John Halls had to say, the employee and the safety department on site. Unlike the employee that was fired after this incident who wasn't able to contact the staff to speak about the incident because they were "in a meeting" I have not signed a non-disclosure agreement.
