Reviews of Powell River Medical Clinic in Powell River

We had to use service of this walk- in clinic while we were there on vacation with our kid being sick. Female doctor , not sure what’s her name, I guess Dr Gil, was absolutely useless, showing no knowledge at all and Dr Marchenko showed incompetence and negligence not able to diagnose with dangerous viral infraction assuming it was strep throat instead. Since another 3 doctors at the hospital emergency room were not able to diagnose correctly , giving totally different opinions on the child’s health , we had to fly urgently to Vancouver to the Children’s hospital where our kid was finally diagnosed properly and was given the right treatment. I understand that high professional specialists are usually work at a big hospital in a big city and all others are being sent to a remote location, but I never expected that incompetency at such horrible high level.

This clinic had so many negative reviews on google that they deleted and readded their page to hide them. Terrible experiences had by many. Avoid it.
