It is a shame I didnt read this or Wawanesa insurance didnt pay attention to their contractors before we allowed this outfit into our home.
We were forced by our insurance to go to Winmar P.A.
Absolutely the worst quality workmanship I have ever encountered.
Everybody is related and nobody has the experience or skills required to do the work they are taking on.
They trashed our living space while doing their work and evry single thing they touched requires a complete overhaul. As a matter of fact we now have water issues in our bathroom because they attempted to install barker board (after talking us into its virtues and acceptability for use as a surround) and of course it is taking on water at every seem so now we have to do a full bathroom renovation.
I don't know which is worse; Winmar P.A. for their piss poor work and lack of accountability or Wawanesa for sending their insured clients to them in times of desperation.
As of this week; Tammy Mathews and Winmar P.A. in general has refused to answer the phone to resolve the fact that the flooring that they installed several times over the last 2 years is falling apart and though it is under warranty; they are refusing to fix their mess.
Im not even sure this will be a small claims issue as the dollar figures may require recompence for the inconvenience to my family of having to put our lives and living space on hold as Winmar P.A. learns about construction.
Run screaming if this place darkens your door or anyone else that may be considering them for any project.

RUN the other way!!! A absolute nightmare, our insurance company hired them. We did NOT, the worst workmanship and professionalism we have ever had to deal with!! We had to get another inspector to come into our home, and they did NOT get paid for the entire job. He was absolutely disgusted and appalled by the work… If I could give a negative I would!!
