BEWARE OF ONLINE ORDERING!. on Feb 23, 2023 I placed an online order for curb side pickup. My credit card was charged for the item, however I never received an email confirmation of the order.
I went to the Southland Mall store in Regina, SK to see if they could find the order. Unfortunately he could not help me without the order number. So I ended up buying an alternate item in store. I returned home and waited 24 hours and rechecked me email boxes (including Spam and Junk folders), nothing found from Sportchek. I phoned the head office gave them all my info. She tried to resend the email but still I did not receive it. I asked her to cancel the order and refund my money on my credit card. Apparently they don’t do that in head office. I was informed that I had to return to the store, show my proof of id and ask the clerk there to phone the head office to give them the same info I already gave the head office and they would then allow the clerk to cancel the order and refund to my credit card. I asked the person at head office if she could just phone the atore clerk herself to cancek the order vs me having to drive a across the cuty to do this. Her response was NO, the head office do not call their own stores directly these matters.

This is the most ridiculous process I have ever heard of!! Not what I would call “Customer Service”! The only other option headoffice gave me was to wait approximately 15 days for the order to expire as “not picked up” and then my money would be refunded! I’m pretty sure the only one making interest on those funds sitting jn their account is Sportchek 😠
