Reviews of Kenesserie Camp in Ridgetown

I had an excellence experience at the camp as a camper and as a staff member, unfortunately the Board of Kenesserie, does not act in the best interest of the staff or the campers, but rather their own desires to return the camp to their jaded nostalgic version of it that it was 20 years ago. In the process the board has taken it upon itself to get rid of traditions. The staff meanwhile have to redouble their efforts so that the kids still have an an amazing summer. Overall a good camp but the question is for how much longer?

Awesome place, it truly is a greta place to go as a kid, as a kid i had the greatest time there, as a staff member it was a dream. The food is usually good, and the memories are awesome: canoeing, forest games, camp fire etc. Truly an amazing place, which doesn't make much money

This is the worst camp ever...stinks....they do nothing for the kids other than give them enough food to survive and c*** food...They call themselves a not for profit...ha! do the math when you go there and figure out roughly what they charge I used low end too and there is no way they are not making a profit...they have hotdogs spaghetti cereal one egg day and a bunch of young kids acting as camp leaders....at what minimum wage, and they take the snacks that you send for your kids? They do not canoe, they do not horseback ride, they do not even go to the beach they play dodge ball go on a hike through the woods and have camp fires.....You should be ashamed of yourself this place is horrible!
