Reviews of Jiffy Lube in Salmon Arm

On July 13 2023 I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change- I usually do them myself, but I am waiting for a hip replacement and did not feel up to doing it this time.
My truck is high mileage but I usually change oil every 8000 km and NEVER have to add any oil. After the oil change I drove from Salmon Arm to Vernon and back (checked the oil before I left) and when i came back i could not believe the blue smoke coming out of the tail pipe - I had never seen this before. Checked the oil and found it was down one litre - driving from Salmon Arm to Vernon.
Next day started the truck up and the blue smoke that came out of the tailpipe - continuously was incredible!. I drove 153 km on that oil change - each day blue smoke and today I did not even trust it to drive to Tappen and back so I took my car.
I went to Canadian tire bought high oil ( synthetic) for 2 oil changes along with filters for just over $80. The oil change at Jiffy Lube cost me $126.53.
This morning after coming back from Tappen I changed the oil and filter (talk about a cheap filter!). I had to use a breaker bar and hammer to get the drain plug loose. Not sure how they tightened it - certainly not according to torque requirements - then of course you do not have a mechanic doing it.
At first, after the oil change there was blue smoke but after driving from Canoe to Salmon Arm and back I noticed there was no blue smoke - even when I accelerated the engine in park
I am not sure what oil they use at Jiffy lube - you do not get to see the oil - they fill up a big jug (out of sight and pour it in - I would never use Jiffy Lube again
