Dr Decaire is a vet that truly cares! She takes care of my 3 dogs, a number of our cats and also provides services to a local rescue I support. To those individuals that complain about her not being available for an emergency visit must realize they may not be the only emergency she has that day. Dr Decaire tries her best to fit people into her schedule but at some point her schedule is full and she cannot provide the care needed for the emergency so sends the person on to find a vet that has the time to provide the needed care. It has happened to me and I understand that because she is an excellent vet she is in high demand. She should not be condemned for wanting the proper care for your animal.

Absolutely horrible service! I’ve been a client here before, but due to my dog having not been there before they refused to help. A dog having seizures and basically paralyzed and the response was “we can’t help due to him not being a client. We also can’t give advice because he’s not a client”. By the time I was able to find a ride and get him to Kingston, he was extremely critical and had to be put down. A family member had to die because they refused to help. If he had received care right away the outcome would have been much different. It’s sad when a vet does not care about the animals enough to help.
