On April 16, 2015 I had my oil changed on my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan 1D4GP24R37B118947. It had 243244 klm on it and I used synthetic oil as I always do. I was informed that the dipstick was broken. I told the gentleman I would replace it as soon as possible. On May 1st, 2015, 15 days later, I headed out to a dog show in Burns Lake BC. I had 5 dogs with me and all my equipment. Between 40-50 klms from Prince George I could hear a noise in the engine area. I pulled over as fast has I could. The oil light came on as I stopped the vehicle. I contacted A.M.A. and they towed my van to Northland Dodge in Prince George. The Service Advisor secured a rental for me and although I could not take all my equipment I continued on to Burns Lake. When talking to the dealer on May 2, 2015 I was told ? Found engine oil excessively discolored/dirty ? Found engine oil level excessively low I called to talk to the Manager of "The Great Canadian Oil Change" in Spruce Grove, AB. I talk to an Andy who stated he was the manager. He would not give me his last name nor the owner of the business. He said "If the owner wanted to deal with people like me, he would work at the shop." I would need to contact the head office if I wanted to talk to someone. He blocked my cell number which it is still blocked as of today. So, may I please talk to someone about my van. After having a synthetic oil change at one of your establishments 15 days and 2126 klms later. The engine was so low with oil that my engine was damaged beyond repair. The dealership is looking for a used engine to replace mine. The estimate is $4367.30. There was no oil leaks and there was no burning there was simply not enough oil in the engine. Also, I was told the waterpump that was replaced less then a year ago was no good. When checked there was nothing wrong with the water pump so I guess I do not need to "call phil at blue nose racing".
