DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANKING INFO / CREDIT CARD INFO TO SKYZONE!


What a horrible farce this company is. Not only is the St. Catharines location filthy, and staffed by lazy, unattentive, and rude workers, but the way that my financial information has been abused has become an abhorrent and egregious thievery, erroneous on the end of SKYZONE St Catharines, and the customer service afterward has been insulting and non-existent. I would NOT recommend SKYZONE to anyone. A 3-month membership that I cancelled, turned into 2.5 years of unauthorized payments right out of my bank account. They withdraw the money under “Ontario MSP” it will not say SKYZONE which is a clear indicator that they have something to hide. I have many pre-auths coming out of my account and they are always clearly labelled by the merchant. Obviously SKYZONE St. Catharines has made a business out of perpetually and incorrectly charging people, as when reading these reviews here, which I should have read before ever handing over my bank information to this company, it’s clear that what has happened to me isn’t an isolated incident!

The Manager, Taylor O’Brien sloughed me off for over a week, saying she passed my complaint along to “higher ups”. No service ticket number, no actual proof that there was a customer service operation in place. I demanded to have contact info from the “higher ups” and received an incredibly offensive and accusatory email from Jeff Wood, “Operating Patner” at Skyzone St Catharines, and then nothing at all. They rationalized stealing my money after I cancelled my account as “The reality is we don’t have to do anything, you signed a contract and are truly not entitled to any refund. It is your responsibility to cancel just like Rogers or Netflix. If you called Netflix and said I have not watched for two years but I forgot to cancel do you think they would send you any money?”

A cancelled 3 month contract has turned into $2033.40 of erroneous and unrefunded charges, for a friends child that visited less than a half a dozen times.

If this represents their due diligence in regards to monetary and customer service issues, I would not recommend subjecting anyone to endeavour a sometimes dangerous activity with children where accountability is nil.
