Reviews of Main Bread & Butter Company in Steinbach

I read the mostly favourable reviews of this company. I tried to use their website to order a Gourmet Basket for $125. This was to go to our adopted Ukrainian family, spending their first Christmas alone in Steinbach. When I hit the button marked “place order”, it sent me to an email address, with no instructions as to how to use it. Fine, so I wrote a rather long statement of all the things anyone would need: my name and ph number,our family’s name, ph number and complete address. A few words about the family, and the delivery date I wished for. Sent the email to their order desk. When I didn’t receive an email in return, I called and got a rather confused employee, who said she doesn’t read emails, and that person wasn’t there. But did I want to tell her what I wanted? No, I really didn’t since I had already followed their website. “ Oh, well, if you give me your credit card # I will see if I can find the email”. No way was I going to do that. I asked if she knew about the website and how you chose the products. “No, I have only been here a month.” What? Who trains people there? I was told someone, maybe Betty, would call me back and take care of things. We never heard from them again. So, the only gourmet basket company in Steinbach did not get our business. We used Glitter Gift Baskets instead. The basket was better, cheaper and had free delivery. It has already shipped to our beloved family, and the tracking has already started. They get our business now.
