Reviews of Wharton Medical Clinic in Stoney Creek

I have been a patient with the Wharton Medical Clinic for more than 3 years. I was referred by my family physician due to obesity, pre-diabetic diagnosis, and general unwellness.
I have had appointments with the support staff and a physician every month to 6 weeks. (even during the pandemic) The staff provided me with excellent resources, suggestions, and general information on my nutrition. They also gave me confidence and cheered me on.
The Doctors, particularly, Dr. Sean Wharton took the time to know me, understand my challenges, and provide me with excellent patient care. They created a treatment plan that gradually assisted me in losing over 60 pounds which improved my cardiovascular function, recovered my glucose balance, and helped me to add more years to my life. I have been maintaining the loss of weight for more than a year! Anytime I felt I needed a little extra help, they were there to provide me with some direction. I will miss these appointments and the specialized support I have received. I do hope the funding by the provincial government will be restored so this clinic could have the opportunity to impact more lives as it has mine. The healthcare system would have eventually been burdened by my declining health, now just the opposite will happen.
