Reviews of 2nd Avenue Home Hardware in Sudbury

I attended home hardware recently to return an item I purchased. The cashier I dealt with was terribly unpleasant and she acted like I should know the home hardware policies by heart. I didn't know there was a 30 day limit to return the item, but nonetheless, the item had never been used and I felt it wasn't unreasonable to speak to the owner. The moody cashier attempted to reach the owner and was unable to do so. She claimed he was on his lunch break. She stepped out for a few minutes, came back and said the owner declined to meet with me and refused to take back my 14$ item. The cashier had a smirk on her face and it really looked like she was pleased not to take back my item. I will NEVER go back there again, not because I wasn't able to return my item but because the service that I received was so unprofessional and frustrating. I will make sure to tell all my family and friends about this experience. I do not recommend this store.
