This company has no integrity. The center pane of one of our recently purchased new triple paned very expensive windows spontaneously exploded in the night, both outer panes stayed intact. Something went wrong during manufacturing and put this glass under extreme pressure. Starfire says this broken center glass does not qualify as a defect, but that a broken seal and some moisture inside would qualify. This is unbelievable but true. Quote from Don, Principle & General Manager: "Warranty is only for the seal and or visual impairment of the glass material itself meaning marks or mfg. loose material within the actual air spaces between each glass lite and fogging etc due to perimeter unit failure." Our window is still perfectly sealed but filled with a completely shattered center glass which makes the window visually unusable and certainly no thermal value. How crazy is this? Stay away from these people! I will take them to court, but so much work. This should not be necessary.
