Reviews of Twinkle Dream Beauty Studio in Surrey

I had an awful experience at this place and I waited a long time to just get over it. I am not the type of person that writes reviews ever but I feel like I owe it to myself and others to write this one. I got a perm from this place over a year ago and without my knowledge they gave me what I can only describe as "Neck bangs".

I asked for curls and I am assuming the technicians thought I had too much hair and they decided to trim some of it. Even if this is something you do while doing perms, it's your responsibility to clear it with me first. Curly hair is difficult to manage, add unruly and uneven bangs to the mix and you have a perfect recipe for messed up and tangled hair for days.
If my hair was over processed and somehow burned in a perfect straight line even then I expect them to tell me and teach me what I can do to manage the regrowth and protect the rest of my hair.

While, this was a huge mess I had to live with; I have to say an even greater let down was the actual perm itself. First the size of the curls were all wrong, I asked them after we were done if the shape will shift to what I had asked for and they said yes once I wash and style them the curl sizes will change. That never happened, on top of that most ringlets were uneven and straight in some areas and then too messy and sharp in other. It was essentially a 90s crimp look as opposed to the curls I was promised.

To me this job was the height of their unprofessionalism and seeing all these other reviews here only go to show how many inept people are working here and just taking our hard earned money and giving us half ass results. I don't expect anyone to acknowledge this or compensate me in anyway, so I have nothing to gain from giving this review but I just wanted people to be aware that this is something that has happened to a trusting patron of this business and I felt extremely offended and let down by them.
