Honestly these company was of no use to me at all after we bought our new home. Absolutely nothing was addressed after paperwork and pictures were sent in. Obviously they work for the developer who, in this case, argues vehemently against spending a dime and every claim is denied or just not responded to. I think there were 2 instances total. The first was a broken furnace in January at -20C. We had the proper tradesman in asap to rectify and prevent further damage but the claim was denied because we didn't get their approval first! The house was 2 years old!! Turns out the furnace was installed 2" out of level originally. Still no love. Don't expect anything from this bunch except denials and collusion with the perpetrator/developer. You have no protection here.
