Reviews of Carrots N Dates in Windsor

Went in and saw some day old cupcakes on sale but no percentage marked. I assumed most day old products at most stores run about 50% off. I didn’t question it until after I left the store and figured out the price per cupcake which was about 25 cents off the regular price. Considering their regular price that was no where near the 50% I was expecting and certainly not worth the cost for stale cupcakes.
Another time I went I ordered a vegetable stir fry which I loved however this one was laced with with sugar which I don’t feel goes with a vegetable dish. Now to be fair I have found that most North American style restaurants lace their vegetable stir fry’s with sugar so I now only order vegetable stir fry’s at Asian restaurants. I figure if restaurants or other food manufacturers lace main course dishes with sugar it’s because they don’t know how else to make the food taste the way it should. Bottom line is that I haven’t been back to Carrots and Dates in 5 plus years.
