Reviews of Glitch fix in Thornhill

Do NOT deal with this company or any of their other locations. They are supposedly an Apple authorized repair depot. I booked an appointment with Glitch Fix on Steeles W in Thornhill. In the online service reservation, which was confirmed, I provided the model # of my iPhone, which needed a battery replacement. I had set aside 3 hours for this on my day off. When I arrived, the technician said they did not have the battery in stock, even though they had known about it days in advance and had my contact info. He said he would order it but that I WOULD HAVE TO RETURN ON THE EXACT DAY THE BATTERY ARRIVED, WITH NO ADVANCE NOTICE FROM THEM. Paying in advance and coming back at my convenience was not an option. He kept giving me the runaround trying to explain why. On top of this, Glitch Fix‘s price was MORE THAN $50 HIGHER than that of the Apple Store. I will be sending a registered letter to Apple’s Canadian corporate office recommending they terminate Glitch Fix as an authorized repair depot, for dishonest and overpriced business practices. If you need service on an Apple product, only deal directly with an Apple Store.
