After engaging with Alex at Balmbuilt and making the initial payment, work progressed slowly with many delays in between. After completing the drawings for a permit, the city is requested further details and there has been no response in over 2 months. This entire process has now taken nearly 10 months when it was expected to only take 3-4 months.
At this point, there is no response from Alex and he is ghosting us from repeated calls/emails/texts. Payment has been made in full, but no permit and no path forward. This behaviour is unprofessional and despicable.
Balmbuilt takes advantage of their customers and does not deliver. Search for them and you will find numerous reviews and even news stories showing their failure. I wish we had seen these before signing up with this guy.
