Reviews of Shelter Canadian Properties Ltd in Toronto

Beware they will ruin your credit when you try to move out. Haven't lived there in 5 years and now they claim I owe thousands of dollars. Place was a dive wasn't well kept entrance was always broken had random drunks in the building passed out causing issues. Avoid the headache stay clear.

Absolute worst management company ever and I have dealt with 5 others since 2000. I would rate them zero if possible. Only ever miscommunication or no communication. They are rude, dismissive and incompetent. They treat resident/owners with disdain - it is really shocking!
Property managers are complacent and leave office staff to field calls - most of them are just as rude!
Peter McLean and Nicolle McNeil are terrible and even assistant Ida is one of the rudest office workers I have dealt with. Marian is the only decent one there but she is not a manager. 76 Shuter tried to get rid of them and will probably do so again in future. They should be replaced as there are some decent companies around - at lower fees!
Larry Beeston is at the head office and things might be taken a little more seriously when a complaint is made to him but only marginally. Head office in Winnipeg should be more concerned with the inept managers in Toronto.
