Beware of this company or any other storage company in BC! Make sure you have a notarized letter given to your next of kin so if something would happen to you your next of kin can get your things back.
My 37 year old son passed last April in an accident without a will (unless it’s in his storage locker) and even with a notarized death certificate and a notarized indemnity letter making myself (his mother) responsible for all issues pertaining to this locker…. Storguard at Yaletown have decided to auction his things instead.
It costs $3500.00 min to obtain a grant of admin and takes months to get what they ask to release the contents which is about 10 bins and a bed. I have paid storage now since April 2022 of $200.00 per month for nothing while I tried to get these people to give me my deceased sons things back.
They can auction it to a stranger but not give it back to his family.

This company is in the auctioning business not storage.
Beware this is their policy and not a law!
