Reviews of Jessica Hair Extensions in Vaughan

PLEASE READ BEFORE buying from Jessica's hair extensions (http://www.jessicahair.ca) - as of March 2023

I don't tend to leave review unless I am overly happy, or VERY disappointed. This is the latter.

Last week I bought clip in extension from Jessica - I mentioned that I was a previous client and just wanted to replace my old ones. I also wanted to get them put in, cut and curled.

I spoke to Jessica twice on the phone and a few times when I arrived before getting them put in. We did not cut them (I didn't feel confident enough that the person clipping them in knew what she was doing). She only curled them.

When I went to pay - what I had expected to be about $280 total, I was SHOCKED when she said $550!!!!!!
I was literally stunned.

The current website as of March 27th, 2023 are posted:

$220 for 20" 160 gram extensions
$60 for cut and style

When I asked Jessica why so much, she said that COVID had hit them hard, and they had to raise their prices. My extensions went from $220 to $450!!!! Then another $100 to clip them in and curl them (no cut).

NO ONE EVER MENTIONED THIS TO ME AT ANY TIME (they had at least 3 or 4 opportunities to let me know everything had gone up in price). She said she apologized but they were getting around to changing the pricing on the website soon.

I feel completely ripped off and very disappointed that Jessica did not say anything about the price increase (I would have understood a little increase but not more than double without mention or any signs in the salon).

There is no excuse for such poor customer communication. Truly one of the worst customer experiences ever. Not cool.

👹BEWARE👹 All of my extensions were falling out and bonds dissolving in 2 weeks!!!! None of the suppliers she claims to work with have her on database, which means she is selling fake hair and a fraud! Girls DO NOT do your masterclass at this fraud place just a warning! She will say anything to get you through the door, any proof of texts or company responses i will happily share. Best Wishes🙏

Garbage hair, poor quality for $1260 ? no customer service, unprofessional hairstylist who has no idea about how to take care of hair extensions . Overcharged me first time and second. The owner Jessica constantly apologizing for everything. Omg never go there!!!
