Unless you want to set fire to a couple hundred dollars I would avoid this place like the plague. Unskilled staff, hard sell and very poor inventory.

I have a difficult foot to fit - high instep, etc. I live about an hour and a half away so called ahead of time to discuss fit. I was assured their staff all are fit experts and that they stand behind their shoes fitting properly.

I travelled to Victoria on a Saturday. The woman I dealt with ended up selling me a pair of sandals and a pair of ballet flats - somewhere over $400 for the two. The sandal instep strap was quite tight but the fitter advised "it will loosen up in an hour or two". It did not. The flats were fitting large, even with a pair of socks. Fitter did not have the proper size but said if I added heel grippers, they would be fine. I did - and nearly killed myself the first time I wore them as the left shoe is so loose it fell right off.

Called to find out what could be done. If I came in they would "work with me" to adjust the fit of the shoes. Now I guess it may be possible to somehow stretch the instep strap on the sandal but in no way are they going to be able to shorten the flat or lengthen my foot. They stand "behind" alright - behind their return policy for the shoes. There is no standing behind their inept and hard sell fitters/sales people. The person I talked to actually indirectly accused me of misrepresenting what the fitter had said.....I have a witness so nice try.

All this store wants is to sell shoes, they don't care if they are the right shoes or if they fit properly. I have had SAS shoes before - purchased in a store that actually knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, those stores are not in Victoria. I will NEVER go back to this one and will make sure everyone I know is aware as well. Really really poor customer service.
