I’m usually not one to write reviews but after my experience I feel it’s necessary to warn others NOT to come here. After explaining to the lady what I wanted, I showed her a reference photo of French nails with red instead of white, coffin shaped, pretty basic and easy, usually I would go for more length but I stayed short because she already said after what I wanted it would be $50 and I was okay with that. As she starts I’m already seeing she’s rushing a lot, she’s burning my nail when using the drill, being a little aggressive but I understand that’s part of the process sometimes, then I start to realize the shape was off, I tried to be kind and tell her what I wanted but she kept telling me to trust her, and I did. When she starts painting my nails she still rushing and the polish came out super messy, I’m still trying to nicely tell her to fix things, I asked multiple times during the session “hey can you please just fix that a little” and every nail ended up looking different from the other, so now the shape is off and the colour is pretty messy I was starting to get upset with my results and started not to trust her, I usually just sit there and don’t say anything but I told her it was looking a little messy, and just showed her a few spots to fix up and she barely fixed anything and put a top coat on. After we are done, I was extremely upset with the results (I even showed people including my boyfriend and they all said it looked messy and told me I got scammed) I wish I could use a reference photo to explain how bad this really was but you will just have to take my word on how horrible this experience was, I kindly said to her “It looks a little messy, I just wasn’t expecting them to look like that” and I asked if I could get it discounted a few dollars because I wasn’t happy. That’s when she starts getting mad at me and told me the nails were now $60, then she got frustrated and said “I will take them all off and start again” I told her “I don’t have another 45 mins to sit here, I have stuff to do today” and that’s when I realized she didn’t care about me or my nails, she just wanted the money.
I started to get upset especially with how she handled me not liking my nails. She raised her voice with me and after that I said “there’s no way I’m paying $60 for this” especially after she told me $50 from the start. I was fed up, I felt used and disrespected, I gave her $40 and told her I’m not coming back anymore and this is ridiculous to treat someone like that and proceeded to try to leave the salon, she came after me, grabbed me and started yelling at me more, didn’t let me leave until I gave her another $20, I mean she really didn’t let me leave so I gave her another $20 just to leave me alone (meanwhile others are watching this happen) probably one of the most embarrassing things I’ve experienced. I feel like getting your nails done should be a nice experience especially for the price you are paying, I don’t expect my nails to be perfect every time but I deserve to be happy with my service and not feel like this afterwards, i’ve been here before and I’ve had good experiences in the past, they probably have one or two real professional nail artists now, I wasn’t expecting to leave so disappointed I paid $60 for the worst nails I’ve ever had or seen, and this really was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had and how she acted was absolutely unprofessional and disgusting.
