Reviews of Trucare Medical Clinic & Walk In in Winnipeg

Wildly incompetent and rude clinic. I was with them for years and I severely regret not going through the process of finding another GP way sooner. Just a few example are that they had:
- Given me the wrong prescription sheet (under someone else's name entirely)
- Forgot to write down my appointments (leading to me spending over an hour and a half in the waiting room even though I checked in at the front desk when I arrived. This lead to me missing an entire class and some of a second one)
- Missed a portion of a form that they were filling out, which caused me to not receive disability benefits during my first year of College
- Prescribed me Lorazepam (a highly addictive benzo and a controlled substance) and told me to take it Every. Single. Day to treat generalized anxiety. I was later told by another, much more competent doctor that it should only ever be used when absolutely needed (e.g. during a panic attack, which I was never prone to having) and prescribed for short periods of time. I was prescribed it for over a year. Because I trusted them, I eventually developed an addiction with the main side-effects being complete blank spots in my memory.

They never showed any remorse or took any form of accountability and were regularly rude and dismissive at every point.
