Took about 20 minutes to receive our food. It felt like it was taking a long time but we tried to be patient as they were busy. However, we noticed that others who had arrived after us were receiving their food. Our waitress never checked on us. We had to ask another one about where our food one and she had to investigate for us.

Nobody ever apologized for the long wait / possible forgetting our order.

I had ordered my food with the over-easy egg to be on a separate plate due to issues with food touching/ flavours mixing. I was asked if I wanted the sausage separate and I said yes (usually I separate everything else as much as I can on my own for less complications).
Ended up getting the egg and home fries on one plate, sausage on another and toast on a third because it wasn't ready with the rest of the food. This isn't what I requested.

When I went to pay I noticed I was charged $2 extra. I was told it was for the 'extra plate' and that this was on the menu.
I googled the menu and found noted at the bottom extra plate $2. This sounds like something that would be implemented for plate sharing. A courteous waitress would point this out at time of ordering as one does not read a menu like a legal document nor do they expect to be charged for not being neurotypical.
