This place doesn't take the current global public health crisis seriously.

On Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 I had a dentist appointment booked for 3 pm. On Monday, March 7th, I woke up feeling slightly unwell, and by Monday evening I had developed symptoms consistent with COVID-19 and was feeling quite ill. At that point it was too late to call the dentist to cancel, so I called first thing Tuesday morning.

The receptionist immediately began to explain their 48 hour minimum cancellation policy. This was pointless to explain, as 48 hours prior to my appointment, I was not sick...

When I insisted that I could not attend the appointment due to my symptoms and feeling so unwell, the receptionist then stated that due to this cancellation I'd be costing the office money by now creating an open hour within the day.

I would have thought that a health care establishment that requires patients to remove their masks in order to be treated would have been understanding and accommodating of my situation, but I was sorely mistaken.
