I honestly can’t think of a single good thing to say about this company, they are absolutely horrible.

I rented a small, 2-bedroom apartment from them for $1350/month plus utilities, and I’ve never had a worse experience with a property manager or landlord.

When I moved in, the stairs were severely damaged to the point they were a severe safety hazard. H2H Properties only repaired the stairs after I called the Building Inspection Department at the City of Windsor and reported the issue to them, at which point the City forced them to repair it properly through By-Law enforcement. Both people I talked to from the department who came to look at the stairs/entranceway agreed with me that they were clearly and obviously a safety hazard and were not up to building code.

I also had an extremely difficult time getting them to repair/fix anything at all. I would send them a maintenance request then not hear back, and when I contacted them about it to follow up they made excuses, usually claiming that their handyman had called but I didn’t answer (which was not the case, except for a couple incidents where they called when I was working or otherwise busy) or they said that the handyman would get to it later, but for most issues they never did.

I should also note that the apartment (476 Windermere Rd Unit 2, if you want to look it up) that I rented in October 2022 for $1350/month plus utilities was listed for rent by them shortly after in August 2023 for $1600/month plus utilities initially, a $250/month increase after only a few months. In my opinion, this shows the type of company they truly are, and why they should not be trusted, as they will do their best to milk your wallet for all you’re worth, for as long as they can.

Also, when I left a 1-star review on their Google profile which accurately stated my experiences with them, they responded with a completely unprofessional and childish comment insinuating that I was mentally ill, likely in an attempt to discredit me. They may claim that what I’m saying is false, but this was the reality of my experience. Honestly, I really wish it wasn’t true, and that I didn’t have to go through all that.
