I don’t recommend for repairing strings instrument here.

My double bass has cracks on the back, he said it took about a week to fix it. After a week, I went there, he told me that the cracks were broken again because the glue was not dried probably, and he also used a different colour paint on the cracked area. My bass looked so ugly and he asked me to give him more time to fix it and it’s his fault.

After a month, I went to pick the bass and he asked for $300 which initially $100. He didn’t mentioned the price before and he said it was his fault. Why should I suffer for his failure and paid him $200 more? It’s totally non sense. And they said I should be happy. I just want to fix the cracks not a new painting (on the back, who cares?) Of course I paid, but will never go back.
