Reviews of Beardsell Guitar Workshop in Winnipeg

I bought an Epiphone Explorer from someone down south. It was sent to me via "mail" and after a long wait...it finally showed up... with a cracked head. After talking to several people, I was directed to Al Beardsell Guitar Shop.
They took a look and assured me that it was repairable. I asked if they could make it look like it never happened and they said they don't do finishing work just repairs. I was fine with that and let them go to work.
After several calls to update me on the progress and a couple months waiting...the call came in..."Your guitar is ready for pick up". I couldn't believe what I saw. The guitar that I searched for for years that arrived busted, was not only repaired, these guys went the extra two miles. They did a finish paint touch up job that did exactly what I was hoping for.
When I opened the case I was floored. You couldn't even tell where the break was. The finish job was amazing, the customer service couldn't have been better, and the guitar that I had been looking for for so long was finally in my hands.
They did a full set up with new strings and new battery for the active pick-ups. Once plugged it in and played, it was amazing. If anyone has any issues with a guitar, no matter what it is, these guys can fix it. I like to call myself a musician, but these guys are magicians. No one loves guitars like these guys do...NO ONE!!!
